Heidi L. Norris-Trejo

August 17, 1976 — October 26, 2020

Heidi L. Norris Trejo, 44, of Sabetha, Kansas, formerly of Topeka, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020. She was born August 17, 1976, in El Dorado, KS, and moved to Topeka when she was less than a year old. She attended grade school at Knollwood Baptist, Cair Paravel, and Topeka High School, where she met and subsequently married Raymond Simpson in 1991. They moved to New Bern, NC, in 1994 and were divorced in 1998. She met Cecilio Trejo in 2000, and the two were married in 2002.

She loved on people and always spoke up for others in need. She wasn’t fond of television. She loved nature, art, and painting rocks for family and friends. Her mind was always at work. She shared her passion for creating with her grandkids, nieces and nephews — always their nurturer and playmate.

She was a best friend to her children, and her life was a living example of hope and love in times of uncertainty. As she rests easy in paradise, her passing reminds us of one of her favorite quotes: "Dark clouds can hide the rising sun and all seems lost when all is won." -Unknown Author
