Harold Bennett Wolfe Jr.

Harold Bennett Wolfe Jr., 75, Topeka, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka. He was born March 16, 1928, in Topeka, the son of Harold Bennett Sr. and Margaret M. Miller Wolfe. He graduated from Union College in Nebraska. Mr. Wolfe was an insurance agent for John Hancock Insurance Co. He married Virginia Wilson on Jan. 3, 1989, at Topeka. She survives. Preceding him in death was a brother, Jack Wolfe. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Jo Del Mize, Noel, Mo.; Mardel Ott, Gentry, Ark., and Lyndel Khalil, Siloam Springs, Mo.; a son, Rodney Wolfe, Arvada, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Camilla McKinney, Topeka, and Olene Warner, Valley Falls; two brothers, Robert and Richard Wolfe, both of Topeka; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel. Mr. Wolfe will lie in state after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel.
