OBITUARY: Harold Lloyd (Pat) Patterson
Harold Lloyd Patterson, 80, Topeka died Sun. morning, Oct. 2, 2005 at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. He was born July 7,1925 at Harveyville the son of Lloyd Ami and Mary Alice (Michael) Patterson.
Harold served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had farmed at Eskridge for 5 years before moving to Topeka where he was a tirebuilder at Goodyear for 30 years before retiring. Harold was a member of Oakland I.O.O.F. Lodge # 640.
He was married to Ina Louise Robinson on March 3, 1944 at Oakland, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Ruth Chilcott and Georgia Masters.
Surviving are his wife, Ina, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Lloyd and Pamela Patterson, Topeka; 2 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Susan D. and Philip LaCrone, Topeka and Julie R. and Kurt Morrow, Wamego; a brother, Tom Patterson, Wichita; and 3 grandchildren: Dustin L. Spencer, Emporia, Kylie V. Morrow, Wamego, and Micah A. LaCrone, Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wed., Oct. 5, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment in Rochester Cemetery. Harold will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
