OBITUARY: Harold Lloyd Jordan
Harold Lloyd Jordan, 85, Overland Park, KS, died Fri., March 23, 2012, at Villa St. Joseph. He was born Feb. 11, 1927, at Wakarusa, the son of Horace A. and Dessie I. (Heberling) Jordan. Harold graduated from Berryton H.S. in 1945. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II and a retired U.S. Postal Clerk. He was a member of Village Presb. Church, Topeka Lodge # 17, AF & AM, Northeast Valley of the Scottish Rite, and Abdallah Shriners. Surviving are his wife: Helen L. (Herdt) Jordan of the home; 2 sons: Douglas C. Jordan of Phoenix, AZ and Gary P. Jordan of Leawood; a brother: Harley Jordan of Orlando, FL; 3 grandchildren: Mindy Vaughn, Kevin Zeller, and Ryan Jordan; and 3 great-grandchildren: Meredith, Allie, and Peter Vaughn. Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Gail Casey, on Nov. 23, 2007. Private interment of cremains in Valley Falls Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS 66208. .
