Harlan Brian Benge, 51, Topeka, died Sunday, January 28, 2018, at his home. He was born August 12, 1966, in Topeka, the son of Jack Lee and Jean Marlene (Henry) Benge.
Harlan graduated from Seaman High School. He was employed by Benge Rentals and was a member of the Carpenter's Local.
He was married to Debra Lynn Johnson on October 25, 2011, in Topeka.
Surviving are his wife: Debra Benge of the home; children: Cody B. Benge (Samantha Munoz) and Harleigh B. Benge all of Topeka; step-son: Tyler J. Novinski (Bridgit) of Barron, WI; grandchildren: Taylor M. Cook of Topeka, Paxton Benge of Topeka, and Melani S. Novinski of WI; father: Jack Benge of Topeka; mother: Jean M. Wiedmann (Joe Kisner) of Topeka; sisters: Dodie J. Wellshear (Dennis Jones) of Topeka, Cherlyle L. Hill (Jim) of Kremlin, OK, and Cassandra D. Williams of Enid, OK; and fur buddies: Maggie Mae, Baby, and Muffin.
Services will be private. Private entombment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel's Mausoleum, 4700 SW 17th, Topeka.
