OBITUARY: Gregory E. "Greg" Wichman
Gregory Edward "Greg" Wichman, 43, Topeka, died Tues., June 17, 2008, at Shawnee County State Lake. He was born Feb. 6, 1965, in Topeka, the son of Gene V. and Carol J. (Robison) Wichman. Greg was a self-employed carpet layer. He was married to Pam Wichman on June 24, 1991. She survives of the home. Also surviving are children: Kandice Leochner (Clayton), Jeremy DeLoy, and Nichole DeLoy; his parents: Gene and Carol Wichman; brothers: Scott A. Wichman (Kele), Clinton D. Wichman (Linda M.), and Michael E. Wichman (Linda L.); 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Committal services will be at 1:00 PM, Fri., June 20, 2008, at Prairie Home Cemetery, NW 35th & Menoken Road. Greg will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, KS 66617.
