Gregg Alan Bahr
Gregg Alan Bahr, 58, Topeka, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born February 2, 1959, in Topeka, the son of Earl Eugene and Beverly Ann (Clabaugh) Bahr.
He was a member of IAFF Local # 83, Mayetta Lodge # 393, AF & AM, Arab Shriners, and Arab Shrine Antiques/Classic Cars Unit. He had worked at Wendy's, Rainbow's as a DJ, Franklin County EMS, Medevac, Topeka Fire Department, and North YMCA. He was active in the Seaman Band Booster Club, Rochester PTO and was an all-around volunteer-social butterfly.
Gregg was married to Rebecca Jean "Becky" Powell on April 24, 1993, in Topeka. She survives. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister, Roseann.
Surviving are his wife: Becky of the home; two children: Kimberly Brianna Bahr and Joshua Alan Bahr both of Topeka; and a sister: Michelle Bonjour (Dale) of Topeka.
Memorial service with casual dress will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Northland Christian Church, 3102 NW Topeka Blvd, Topeka with honors by the Topeka Fire Department. Interment of cremains will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3161 SW Sixth Avenue, Topeka.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, at the Northland Christian Church, 3102 NW Topeka Blvd.
Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers may be made to the Bahr Children's Education Fund c/o CoreFirst Bank and Trust, Topeka.
