Greg Alan Wadkins, 35, Topeka, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 as a result of injuries he and his brother, Chris sustained in an automobile accident.
Greg was born March 4, 1974 in Topeka, the son of Ray L. and Pat J. (Friday) Wadkins. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1992.
He worked at Remington's and 94 Country radio before being employed as an electrician with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #226.
Greg enjoyed family, entertaining people and sports of all kinds, especially O.U. and K.U.
Survivors include his parents, and sister, Jennifer Wadkins; his fiancé, Janet Pruett and their son, Jack Alan; maternal grandmother, Betty Friday; and paternal grandfather, Bob Long, all of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Wadkins; grandmother, Wilma Long and grandfather, John Friday.
Mass of Christian Burial for the brothers will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Half Day Cemetery. Greg and Chris will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel from noon until 5:00 pm on Saturday. You may also pay your respects and greet the family from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m.

A Benefit will be held in honor of Greg & Chris Wadkins beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at The Office, 8th & Jackson, Topeka.
