Eileen Deeter

Grace Eileen Deeter, age 62,  left her earthly family and friends to be welcomed into the arms of Jesus and began to experience a new life where she could walk, talk, sing, and dance.  She was born July 25, 1959 in Topeka,  into the family of Gary and Florence (Oyler) Deeter, the second of three children.  During the 17 years at home with her family, she reveled in church, travel, friends, good food, music, and laughter.  She then moved to a new home and family at Kansas Neurological Institute, where she expanded her experiences and received home-like care from dedicated staff and nurses for more than forty years.   It can be said clearly that God stole the chambers of her mind and placed them in her heart, out of which she exemplified the multi-faceted grace of God to those who interacted with her daily.

Eileen is survived by her parents, Gary and Florence Deeter of Topeka; a brother, Eric (Brenda) Deeter of Kansas City, KS; a sister, Elan Lantz of Evergreen, CO, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Neurological Institute and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
