OBITUARY: Glenn S. Hatch III
Glenn S. Hatch III, 38, of Topeka, passed away Sat., Jan. 13, 2007, after a brief illness.
He was born Oct. 26, 1968, in Topeka, the son of Glenn S. Hatch, Jr. and Janet Foster Hatch.
He was a 1986 graduate of Seaman High School and longtime employee of Tevis Restaurant. He was an avid collector of 1970's and 80's nostalgia. Glenn was fond of all animals, especially cats. He was very fond of Colorado, his favorite locale being Westcliff. He was known for his generosity and patience and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors include his parents, Glenn S. Hatch, Jr. of Topeka and Janet Mazur of Pueblo, CO; two brothers, Darin Hatch of Topeka and Zach Zeckser of Denver, CO; two sisters, Rebekah Culbertson of Topeka and Crystal Mazur of Pueblo, CO; three nieces,one nephew and several cousins.
Glenn will lie in state after 2:00 PM, Thurs., Jan. 18 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will greet friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm that evening. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Fri., Jan. 19 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Prairie Home Cemetery.
