Gladys Marie Koelling Lindstrom, 92, of Silver Lake, died Friday, November 1, 2013.
She was born June 29, 1921, on a farm near White Cloud, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Esther (Plaeger) Koelling.
Gladys graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1939 and attended Stricklers Business College of Topeka.
She was a member of Silver Lake United Methodist Church, Bethel Community Club, and Silver Lake Loyal Chapter #176 Order of Eastern Star.
Gladys was married to James Harvey Lindstrom on October 18, 1941, in Kansas City, Kansas. He died November 27, 1966.
She is also preceded in death by an infant son, Jerry C. Lindstrom, brother, Lowell "Tiny" Koelling, and grandson, Bryan Lindstrom.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Barker; three sons, Jim, John (Bev), Jack (Karen), all of Silver Lake; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Lindstrom's visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Silver Lake United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013, at Silver Lake United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Topeka.
