Gladys Irene Grame, 93, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born August 25, 1914 in Wakarusa, Kansas the daughter of James and Nettie Mae (Keaton) Kinnett.
She married John C. Grame June 20, 1932. They were divorced. She was preceded in death by a son, John Wm. Grame, a daughter, Neva Batcheller and a brother, James Kinnett. Survivors include three sons, Robert, Charles and Francis Grame; three daughters, Velma Stattelman, Ella Johnson and Roberta Buchholz; one brother, Vernon Kinnett; all of Topeka, 22 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
Gladys worked at Pelliter's from 1959-1972.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Topeka Cemetery. Mrs. Grame will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel.
