Gerald "Jake" F. Lolley, 67, of Topeka died, Friday, November 18, 2005 at St. Francis Health Center. He was born January 4, 1938 in Blaine, Kansas, the son of Sylvester F. and Katherine E. Fox Lolley.
Gerald graduated from Wheaton High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after 35 years of service.
He married Edna Edmonds, July 3, 1987 in Topeka, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Michael Anthony Lolley, Topeka; Gerald Thomas Lolley, Littleton, CO; a daughter, Laurie Ballard, Frisco, TX; two step-sons, Terry Benschoter, Grantville, KS; Randy Benschoter, Olathe, KS; a step-daughter, Kathe Clark, McLouth, KS; a brother, Donald Lolley, Frankfort, KS; Kay Abitz, Wheaton, KS; Dee Goodman, Wheaton, KS; 2 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in Saint Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton, KS.
Mr. Lolley will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
