Gerald Lavern Harold (Fuzzy) passed away and went home to be with his Lord on Dec. 17 th . Gerald was born February 22, 1923 in Morrill, Kansas to Charles and Clara Harold. He attended school and then joined the army during WWII. He married Hildagean Harold and had two children. He was later divorced and married Lucille Carver who had three children.
He is survived by his children: Janice Bent (Fred) of Belgrade, MT and Mark Harold (Shelley) of Gallatin Gateway, MT and three grandchildren: Jeff, Heather and Tim and seven great-grandchildren, all in Montana.
Lucille had three children: Rolland (Jan) of Hawley, Pennsylvania, Ken and Barb and two grandchildren.
After WWll, Gerald worked at Beatrice Foods in Topeka, and retired in 1987. He was an amazing artist and early on painted various signs around Topeka. During retirement he took up painting pictures for family and friends. He loved animals and never met a stranger. He worked with various ministries including North Topeka Outreach, Meals on Wheels and drove the bus for Northland Christian Church. Gerald and Lucille enjoyed traveling in their retirement. They both moved into the Apostolic Christian Home in 2013 where Gerald became one of the favorites, always greeting everyone with a smile and always calling the staff “Honey”!
A memorial service will be held January 6 th at the North Village sitting area of the Apostolic Christian Home at 2:00 pm in Sabetha.
