Georgia H. Loya, 72, of Topeka passed away on February 6, 2024. She was born July 20, 1951 at Topeka athe daughter of Frank Akin and Opal Stewart. She was raised in Topeka. Georgia worked at a cleaners, and was a caregiver earlier in her life. She was married to Henry Loya on March 10, 1970 in Oskaloosa. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, colored pencil books, and playing bingo. She most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Henry Loya of Topeka; son, Jeremy Loya of Topeka; granddaughter, Camila; siblings, Joe Akin, Don Akin; and sister Terry Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her son Henry Carlos Loya; her parents, Frank Akin and Opal Stewart; and her brothers and sisters which include, Ival Akin, Frank Akin, Benny, Akin, Clifford Akin and Virginia Sisco.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude's Hospital.
