OBITUARY: Geneva J. Olliso
Geneva Jessie Olliso, 88, Topeka, died Tues., Jan. 29, 2013, at Midland Hospice House. She was born May 4, 1924, in Topeka, the daughter of Ralph and Jessie (Prosser) Kleinsteuber.
Geneva graduated from Topeka High School in 1942.
She was married to Frank Olliso on Dec. 5, 1958, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1991.
Surviving are a sister: Evelyn Herschell of Topeka; nieces: Jeanne Knowles of Topeka and Deanna Cox of Long Beach, CA; great-niece: Julie Kingsbury of Lawrence; long-time friend: Alice Stillwell of Topeka; cousin: Patsy Ford of Topeka; and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Fri., Feb. 1, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Rochester Cemetery. Geneva will lie in state after 10:00 AM, Fri., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604.
