Gary Hart Flott
Gary Hart Flott, 58, Topeka, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, in Topeka. He was born Dec. 31, 1944, in Topeka, the son of Charles L. and Velma Walker Flott. Gary worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber for several years before becoming a member of the fire department's fire rescue squad. He moved to Wyoming in 1978, where he worked for Getty as a mechanic. He then joined Colonial Life, where he was an area manager. He married Peggy J. Logan on Feb. 22, 1964, in Lawrence. She survives. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry D. Flott. Other survivors include two sons, Terry H. Flott, Newnan, Ga., and Kerry M. Flott, Casper, Wyo.; a brother, Charles E. Flott, Topeka; and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Family of God Church, 1231 N.W. Eugene.
