Gary Dean Seckinger, 43, Topeka, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010.
Gary was born February 26, 1967 in Topeka, the son of Bobby and Freda (Thornton) Seckinger. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1985 and served in the U.S. Army for 4 years.
Gary had been employed at Goodyear.
Survivors include daughter, Britni Seckinger, Springfield, MO; father, Bobby Seckinger, Topeka; sisters, Wanda Thornton, Topeka, Debbie Moore and companion, Billy Auton, St. George, Diane Morgan, Topeka, Shirley Chapman, Topeka; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and nephew, Scott Nevill, II.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Mount Hope Cemetery. Gary will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
