Gail D. Moss

On Friday, September 16 ^th , 2022, Gail Donley Moss, passed away peacefully in the company of his family at the age of 87.

Gail was born on November 26, 1934 in Rolla, Missouri to James Ray Moss and Irene Margaret Curtis.   Raised in small town Vienna, Missouri he was proud of having attended a one-room schoolhouse.   He met his wife Delores Smith after moving to the City of St. Louis.   Gail is remembered for his distinguished service as a military paratrooper and flight mechanic in the U.S., Army, as a valued employee of Ronnoco Coffee Company, and a loving family man.   His spirit was as warm as the tasty pies he loved to bake.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Merle Moss, sisters Charlene Anderson, Shirley Mansfield, Shannon Krause, and Sandra Moss, and his daughter Deidre Moss Selk.

He is survived by his wife Delores Moss, son Bryan Moss, and grandchildren, Brandon Barnett, Aislynn M, Elise Bisconer, Jacquelynn Moss, and Julia Moss; great-granddaughter, Beatrice Barnett

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home.  Graveside comital services with military honors will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Southeast Shawnee County.
