G. Galen Pyle

“Galen” Pyle, 83, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born April 22, 1938 in Topeka the son of Delbert Pyle and Nellie Paulsen Pyle. He attended Lowman Hill Elementary School and graduated from Highland Park High School.   He worked at the Topeka Supply Depot for over twenty years.   He also worked on the street department in Wichita and was a corrections officer at the Kansas Penitentiary in Hutchinson.   He also had drove a city bus.

Survivors include his good friends, Carl and Janice Palmer of Topeka; nephew, Mike Hale of Seattle, Washington; and brother-in-law, Loren Hale in Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Eva Pyle and Marleen Pyle-Hale.

A prayer service was held at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Topeka Cemetery. www.davidsonfuneral.com
