Frederick Eugene Sturm

Frederick Eugene Sturm, 67, Topeka, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004. He was born Nov. 10, 1936, in Topeka, the son of Eugene O. and Verda Irene McFarland Sturm. Mr. Sturm managed the cafeteria in the Frank Carlson Federal Building before he retired. He was a member of First Baptist Church and numerous Masonic organizations. Survivors include his daughter, Dori Farrow, Milford; a son, Rory Sturm, Denver; a brother, Kenneth Sturm, Arizona; a sister, Faye Dozier, in California; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence. Golden Rule Lodge No. 90 AF&AM will conduct Masonic graveside services in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
