Fred Tsuglis, 88, of Denison passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at his home. He was born March 16, 1930 in Neosho Rapids, the son of Christos and Frances (Krueger) Tsuglis. Fred graduated from Silver Lake High School. He lived most of his life near Denison. He served in the United States army. He served as a guard while he was stationed in Korea.
Fred worked various jobs throughout his life. He was a cattleman-rancher, worked at Henry Manufacturing, Allis Chalmers and the Topeka Foundry. He also farmed neighbor’s ground around Denison after retiring.
He married Norma “Jeanie” Dick on September 29, 1962. Jeanie passed away on February 18, 2001.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Tsuglis Valdivia and her husband Thomas.
Along with Jeanie, Fred was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Tsuglis in 2012.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 19 th at Rochester Cemetery.
