Francis Resseguie

Francis Lorene Resseguie, 62, Topeka, died Wednesday, Oct.16, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Resseguie had worked for Mike's IGA in Oakland for more than 20 years. She later worked in health care administration at IHS of Highland Park and Infinia of McPherson before retiring in January this year.
She was born Nov. 6,1939, in Sheldon, Mo.,the daughter of Lome Richard and Kathryn Demy Scholes. She earned a bachelors degree in business administration from Friends University.
Survivors include three sons, Wesley R. Wherrell and Douglas B. Wherrell, both of Topeka, and Melvin E. Wherrell, Chesapeake, Va.; two daughters, Nina K. Moore and Nora F. Perez, both of 1opeka; her mother, Kathryn Scholes, Salina; five brothers, Bob Scholes, McPherson, Richard Scholes, Topeka, J.D. Scholes and Jim Scholes, both of Salina, and Tom Scholes,Seattle; three Sisters, Ann Sutterfield, Wichita, Neva Speight, Lindstrom, Minn., and Mary Ford, Sheldon, Mo.; and 14 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Parker-Price Mortuary Chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Mrs. Resseguie will lie in state at the mortuary after 1 p.m. today,where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
