Francis "Michael" Donnelly, III, 62, of Rossville, KS, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009.
He was born April 12, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Francis Michael Donnelly, II. and Anna Elizabeth Summers. He served in the United States Air Force serving during Vietnam.
He was employed as a Radiologic Technologist at North Broward Medical Center in Pompano Beach, FL, Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka, KS and most currently at St. Mary's Hospital, St. Mary's, KS.
Michael is survived by three daughters, Tara Chacon (Raul) of Loxahatchee, FL, Michelle Crosswhite (Darrell) of Holton, KS, and Beth Valdivia (Paul) of Topeka; four grandchildren, Sarah Chacon, Raul Chacon, Jamie Wood, and Miranda Wood; two brothers, Joe Donnelly of Washington, DC, and Jim Donnelly of New Mexico; a sister, Bobbie Meade of Florida and his ex-wives, Sarah Bahner and Camille Donnelly. He was preceded in death by a son, Sean Michael Donnelly, and a sister, Penny Turner.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. Mr. Donnelly will lie in state after 3 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Burial will be at V.A. National Cemetery, Lantana, Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 3816 Payspher Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
