OBITUARY: Frances Slawson
Frances Slawson, 67, Meriden, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at her home. She was born Aug. 3, 1938, at Richmond, VA, the daughter of Woodrow C. and Irma (Tucker) Lewis.
She had owned and operated Fran's Ceramics in Topeka. She had lived in Topeka before moving to Meriden in 1978.
Frances was married to Charles J. Slawson of Nov. 6, 1954, at Richmond, VA.
She went home to be with her Lord and her loving daughter, Jacqueline A. Slawson, who preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2004.
Surviving are her husband, Charles J. Slawson, of the home; and a brother and sister-in-law: Wayne and Beverly Lewis, of Powhatan, VA; 3 nephews; 2 great-nieces; and 1 great-nephew.
Private interment of cremains will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800.
