Everett Arthur Parker

Everett A. Parker, age 77, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. Everett was born July 9, 1942 in Topeka, the son of Arthur Wellington and Gladys Fay (Titterington) Parker. He attended Topeka High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Sharon Griffin September 16, 1967 in Topeka. Everett worked at Sears while he and Sharon lived in Tulsa. He was a longtime member of the North Rock Baptist Temple. He was a member of D.A.V. in Topeka. Everett enjoyed camping and fishing, especially with his grandchildren. Everett is survived by his wife, Sharon of over 52 years; a son, Lon (Sara) Parker of Jacksonville, Florida; a daughter, Angela House of Topeka; a sister, Laura Stern of Washington; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the North Rock Baptist Temple. Inurnment will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date with Air Force honors.
