Eunice N. Brubaker

Reverend Eunice N. Brubaker, 68, of Topeka, passed from this life to eternal life with Jesus on September 6, 2023.
She was born on May 4, 1955 to Ray and Dorothy (Jordan) Marlin in Indianapolis, IN.
Eunice graduated from Franklin Central High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and a master's degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary.
On March 6, 1993, she married Kenneth Brubaker. Together they shared 30 wonderful years working in many areas of ministry. They were blessed to coordinate many Work and Witness trips with Eunice visiting over 56 countries where she was able to share the Gospel.
Ministry was Eunice's life. She spent 13 years as a missionary to the Philippines for the Church of the Nazarene. She was Associate pastor at Lawrence First Church, Executive pastor at Topeka Fairlawn Church and served as lead pastor for Waters Edge Church of the Nazarene for 7 years. She served as an adjunct professor at MidAmerica Nazarene University and taught children at Cair Paravel Latin School. She was the longest serving Chaplain in the Kansas House of Representatives, which she greatly enjoyed for 17 years. She also served 8 years as Global President of Nazarene Missions International.
Eunice is survived by her loving husband, Ken; siblings Robert (Cathy) Marlin, Alice Palmer, and Tim (Wendy) Marlin, 7 adorable nieces, 1 beautiful great-niece and 7 handsome great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents and her brother, Stephen Ray Marlin.
Visitation, where family will greet friends, will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023, 9:00 am to 10 am at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene, 3501 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka, KS.
A Celebration of Life service and reception will follow at 10:00 am.
Graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm at Prairie Home Cemetery.
