OBITUARY: Ethel Marie Kahler
Ethel Marie Kahler, 66, Topeka, died Sat., Oct. 13, 2007, at St. Marys Manor. She was born June 15, 1941, at Perry, the daughter of Charles Lewis and Adeline Ruth (Lentz) White.
Ethel worked 17 years at American Linen and then 17 years for the State of Kansas in the Docking State Office Building before retiring for health reasons.
She was married to Delbert LeRoy Kahler on April 21, 1979, at Topeka. He survives of the home.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter: Margie Baum of Topeka; a son: Charles Kahler of Topeka; a sister: Ruth Lister of Colorado; a brother: John White of Topeka; and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Fri., Oct. 19, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Ethel will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thursday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis, 5350 SW 17th, Topeka, KS 66604.
