Ervine V. Nixon-Connor
Ervine V. Nixon-Connor, 96, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007. She was born January 25, 1911 in Elmont, KS, the daughter of Ervin and Viola Nixon.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bruggen and husband, John of Topeka, son, Steven R. Connor and wife, Judy of Denver, CO, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Ervine was preceded in death by her sons, Rex and Dale and grandson John Grant Connor.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Mount Hope Cemetery. She will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Monday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave where her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. To leave a special message for the family online, visit www.PenwellGabel.com.
