Eppie Cordero Aldape, 88, of Topeka, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024.
She was born April 7, 1935, in Del Rio, Texas, the daughter of Jose and Maria Cordero.
She loved to the Lulac Senior Center. She was a member at St. Matthew Catholic Church.
Eppie loved her grandkids and great grandkids tremendously.
She was very ornery, feisty and was straight to the point. She had a great sense of humor. She was loved by all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Eppie married Paulino Aldape on January 23, 1961 in Herford, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2003.
Survivors include her children, Johnny Marinez, Paulino Aldape, Jr., Richard Aldape, Mary Jane Rangel, Anabelle Galicia, Ruben Aldape, and Jessie Aldape; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paulino, son, Ruben Aldape, daughter, Diana Ortiz, five brothers and one sister.
Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. The family will greet friends until 7:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2700 SE Virginia Topeka, KS 66605. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
