Enola Joyce Mack
Enola Joyce Mack, 83, of Holton, formerly of Meriden, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Medicalodges Jackson County. She was born July 1, 1934, at Valley Falls, the daughter of Velma Pearle (Greene) and Oliver Clayton Stockwell, Sr.
Enola had attended Topeka Schools. She was baptized at East Topeka Baptist Church. She was a member of Heart of Jackson Humane Society. Enola had worked as a meat wrapper at Sutton's and Safeway.
She was married to Louis A. Bosh in June, 1949. They were divorced. She married Alvin Martin Mack, Sr., on July 2, 1953, in Holton. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1991. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Billie Jo Baldwin; two sisters: Wilma Jean Tillotson and Ruth Ellen Boyles; and two brothers: Oliver Clayton "Junior" Stockwell, Jr. and Ronald Lee "Butch" Stockwell.
Surviving are her children: Linda Wiseman (Jerry) of Topeka, Roseann Scheid of Holton, Ervin Thomas "Tom" Mack (Teresa) of Topeka, and Alvin M. Mack, Jr. (Roxanne) of Hoyt; and two sisters: Florance M. Helmick (Gary) of Grantville and Karen Sue Casco (Tony) of Antock, CA; six grandchildren: Billy Dean Baldwin, Rachelle Abernathy, Jessica Mack, Shaun Thomas Mack, Sarajo Mack Hetheriton, and April Marie (Mack) Cary; and several great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 7, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment of cremains will be in Half-Day Cemetery, Elmont.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, Thursday, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel.
