Emma L. Morstorf, 81, of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Manor Care Health Services, Topeka, Kansas.
She was born November 17, 1924 in Carbondale, Kansas the daughter of John and Priscilla Job Dennison.
Mrs. Morstorf had been employed with KNI 13 years and retired from Coca Cola Bottling Company.
Emma married George Thomas Morstorf April 14, 1943 in Topeka. He preceded her in death May 15, 2000. Survivors include two daughters, Virgina A. Fleenor, Topeka; and Debra L. Scherdin, Overland Park; four sons, Thomas L. Morstorf, Olivet; Donald J. Morstorf, Lawton, OK; George M. Morstorf. Lenexa; and Scott A. Morstorf, Topeka; two brothers, Charles E. Dennison, Burlingame, and Alvin Dennison, Garnett; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard and Lloyd Dennison, and two sisters, Thelma Seastrom and Doris Burgess.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka., KS. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Morstorf will lie in state after 12:00 noon Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will greet friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. that evening.
