Eloise Kunard

Eloise Jean Kunard, 61, Topeka, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at a Topeka hospital. Mrs. Kunard had worked for Jostens, Ken Orr and Associates, and in Dr. Glen Bair's office. She was born April 28, 1941, in Axtell, the daughter of Herbert W. and Vernie Olson Johnson. She graduated from McLouth High School and moved to Topeka in 1959. She married Howard E. Kunard on June 4, 1961, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include four sons, Bruce Lee Kunard and Gregg W. Kunard, both of Topeka, Rodney A Kunard, Stockton and Jared E. Kunard, San Francisco; a step-son, Larry E. Kunard, El Paso, Texas; a stepduaghter, Sharon E. Humston, Topeka, a brother, Kenneth Johnson, Topeka; six stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Prairie Home Cemetery. Mrs. Kunard will lie in state at Parker-Price Mortuary after 2 p.m. Thursday. Contributions may be made to the Eloise J. Kunard Memorial Fund and sent in care of the Education Credit Union, 66614
