El Dana Mae Langley, 73, Topeka died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at St. Francis Health Center. She was born May 19, 1931 in Grant Nebraska the daughter of Late and Pearl G. Rowley Langley.
She served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She worked as a nurses aide for Colmery-O'Neil Veterans Administrations Hospital. She had over 35 years of federal serivce with 3 years in the military and the rest working in the hospital.
She is survived by five sisters, Geneva May, Tulsa, OK; Frances Myers, Velata Tibbs, Ruth Vincent, Virginia Langley all of Topeka; two brothers, Earl Langley, Mesa, AZ; and Donald Langley, Carbondale, KS; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Fri., April 1, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment will be in Eskridge Cemetery.
El Dana will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Thursday,at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, KS 66617 or the charity of the donor's choice.
