Edward John Kombacher, 70, of Topeka, passed away on February 1, 2022 at his home.
He was born on March 13, 1951 to Edward and Dorothy (Heinrich) Kombacher in Watertown, NY.
Edward volunteered at the Topeka Rescue Mission where he later worked as a security officer. He enjoyed reading the Bible and teaching faith to others. Edward liked to listen to his CB Radio and make contact with others that were using theirs. Edward was a very giving soul and loved to help others whenever he could.
On September 22, 1978, he married Lana L. Kombacher (Logan).
Edward is survived by his spouse, Lana; children, Daniel (Erika) Brown, Nicole Brown, Carrie Coleman-Colett, Sara Duhe, Amanda Watkins, and Katie Anne Marie Robinette; sisters, Kathy Kombacher and Debbie Prievo; 22 grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his son, Jeffrey Brown.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, 10:00 am at the Parker-Price Funeral Home in Topeka, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission and sent in care of Parker Price Funeral Home.
