Edward Arthur Hauschild, 68, of Mayetta, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
He was born December 26, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Elton Hauschild and Laura Hauschild (Lich). He was a graduate of Lathrop High School.
Ed was employed and retired from Bradken Steel Foundry in Atchison, Kansas.
He was a member of steelworkers union and the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).
Edward married twice, both preceded him in death. Survivors include his friend, Wendy McCoy of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Cissy Breuer.
Ed enjoyed woodworking, photography and collecting cookbooks.
Honoring his request, cremation is planned with no public celebration of his life per his request. Parker Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, in Topeka is assisting the family.
