Edith Elaine Anderson

E. Edith Anderson, 76, of Topeka passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023.   She was born June 10, 1947 at Onaga, Kansas the daughter of Kenneth and Almira Schwarz Anderson.   Edith was raised in Topeka, she worked for a number of years at Fairlawn Heights Nursing Home.   She enjoyed knitting, and gave away lots of afgans.  Edith passed along her talent and taught her daughter to knit as well.   She had a real green thumb and had lots of indoor plants.   She enjoyed going to Taco Villa.

Survivors include her children, Michael D. Anderson,  Jenean A. Prather, and Kimberly K. Anderson; her siblings, Chris Eams, Jim Anderson, Joye Johnson and Mary Ellen Anderson; one grandchild, Matthew James Anderson also survives.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lynn Anderson and a grandchild, Alonna Lake.

Cremation is planned.  Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
