OBITUARY: Earl L. Kuebler
Earl L. Kuebler, 82, Topeka went home to be with his Lord on Monday, July 25, 2005. He was born July 3, 1923 in Topeka the son of Edward and Anna Wininger Kuebler.
Earl retired from Sears in 1985. He previously worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for twenty years.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Topeka where he served on the board of elders and volunteered for various other activities. He transferred his membership to St. John's Lutheran Church.
He married Emily E. Reynolds, July 14, 1939 in Topeka. She passed away Aug. 21, 1995. Earl was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Earl Kuebler, Nov. 22, 1945.
Survivors include: a son Rick Kuebler and wife Cheri, Topeka; two daughters: Carolyn Spencer and husband, Guy, Topeka, and Marilyn Sue Down and husband, Danny, Topeka; a half-brother: Bob Pater, Topeka; a special friend, Shirley Guthrie, Topeka; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Aug. 1, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel, 245 N.W. Independence. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Kuebler will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
