Earl L. Hare, 86, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009.
Earl was born July 21, 1922 in Piedmont, KS. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, 501st Airborne as a paratrooper. He wed Florence Marie Newman on June 6, 1945, who preceded him in death in 2004. Earl retired from Goodyear in 1970.
Survivors include his daughter, Roxane Gradick of Topeka, his two sons; Chris D. Hare and Jack L. Hare, both of Topeka, seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hare will lie in state after 12:00 Noon on Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Penwell Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 6, 2009, 11:00 am at West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Fundenberger will officiate.
