OBITUARY: Earl E. Frickey



Earl E. Frickey, 89, Topeka, died Thurs., Dec. 6, 2007. He was born Feb. 22, 1918, at Eustis, NE, the son of Albert and Vida Frickey.

Earl had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Before retiring he was a printer at Adams Business Forms. Earl was a life member and Past Commander of Philip Billard Post # 1650, V.F.W., and a member of Topeka North Post # 400, of the American Legion. He was a member of Third Christian Church for many years and was currently a member of First Christian Church.

He was married to Dorothy A. Anderson on June 28, 1947, in Topeka. She survives of the home. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law: Earlene and Ned Albro of Topeka; and a brother: Lloyd Frickey of Topeka.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Sat., Dec. 8, 2007, at Mt. Hope Mausoleum Chapel. Military honors will be conducted by Philip Billard Post # 1650, V.F.W. Earl will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Fri., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
