E. Frank Sewell, 96, Topeka, KS died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004 at Midland Hospice House.
He was born October 31, 1907 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of Joel I. and Hattie M. Morris Sewell. He attended schools in Carrolton, GA. Mr. Sewell was an electrician and electrical inspector for over 60 years.
He married Margaret E. Mannen on July 10, 1942 in Rockville, MD she survives.
Frank was a 50 year member of Orient Lodge #51 A.F. & A.M., Potwin Presbyterian Church, 61 year member of I.B.E.W. #226 and Helena Chapter #210 O.E.S.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Other survivors include his son Franklin B. and wife Jane Sewell, Topeka, KS, three granddaughters, Mary and her husband Jim Charity, Becky Sewell and Julie Sewell all of Topeka, KS, two great-grandchildren Cameron Charity and Caitlin Charity of Topeka, KS.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope cemetery where Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Orient Lodge #51 A.F. & A.M.
Mr. Sewell will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
