Dwight H Thomas

Dwight H. “Buck” Thomas, age 93 died on April 2 ^nd , 2023 in Topeka, KS. He was born 10:30 P.M. April 9 ^th , 1929 near Grantville, the son of Leslie and Loretta (Esser) Thomas. He was raised in the Glen Valley Community in Northwestern Shawnee County and attended Glen Callry one room school and graduated from Seaman High School in 1948.

He worked for Esser and Son hardwood flooring co. for 25 years, and worked 21 years in the Horticulture Division of Topeka Parks & Recreation.

He married his wife Irma Gordon in April 1950. He is survived by his wife Irma and six children, Vickie Hayes; Kevin (Cindy); Tyrone (Pat); Deonn Jensen, Denise Mooduspaugh, Darin (Amy), eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one sister Pat (Don) Finson.
