Dorothy M. Wilson, 91, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Midland Hospice House.
Dorothy was born on February 16, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas. She was the daughter of Ignatius Haberkorn and Mary Burghart Gorrell.
She attended St. Joseph Grade School and Capitol Catholic High School.
Dorothy married Jack C. Wilson on July 17, 1948. Together they had two daughters. She worked as a meat cutter throughout her life for many different stores such as, Safeway, A & P Grocery, Dibbles, and Falley's Meat Plant where she retired after 15 years.
Dorothy enjoyed her fair share of poker nights, bingo, and spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her two Daughters, Wanda Metzger (Chuck Klebe) and Diana Kurdziel; Three Sisters, Theresa Platt, Mary Jane O'Brien, Phyllis Beier (Victor); four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family receiving friends will be held at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020. Rosary will be prayed at 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral service starting at noon, all at Parker Price Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made out to Midland Hospice care and sent in care of Parker Price Funeral Home.
