Dorothy Mae Warner

Dorothy M. Warner, age 98, of Topeka, Kansas passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  Dorothy was born December 24, 1921 in Topeka the daughter of Frank and Lillian (Jordan) Quaney.  She graduated from Topeka High School in 1940.  Dorothy married Arthur “AJ” Warner June 6, 1941 in Topeka.  He preceded her in death November 24, 2001.  She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur “Neil” Warner and two grandsons, Brent Warner and Corey “CJ” Richter.  She is survived by three daughters, Ardeth (Charles) Cattrell of Topeka, Linda (Calvin) Shull of Topeka and Judi (Larry Newell) Richter of Topeka; a sister, Katie Hill of Topeka; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.   Dorothy was a member of the National American Women’s Bowling League, the Moose Lodge and the Post #400 American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed dancing and bowling in various leagues.  Dorothy’s focus in life was her family.

Private family services will be Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Post #400 American Legion and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com
