OBITUARY: Dorothy Jane "Dottie" Anderson
Dorothy Jane "Dottie" Anderson, 67, Topeka, died Wed., April 11, 2012, at Midland Hospice House. Dottie was born Oct. 17, 1944, in Topeka, the daughter of Donald J. and Donna J. (Zarn) Foster. She had worked at Hallmark in Lawrence; managed a Hardee's in Kansas City, KS; and was assistant office manager at Fountainebleau Apartments. Dottie was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Topeka and Eagles Auxiliary # 87 of Kansas City (Past President); and was active in the Boy Scouts and Camp Fire Girls in Kansas City. Dottie was married to Norman R. Anderson on Aug. 31, 1963, in Topeka. Surviving are her husband: Norman Anderson of the home; 2 sons: Robyn Anderson of Topeka and Brian Anderson (Marsha) of Killeen, TX; a sister: Donna Myers of Topeka; 2 brothers: Jerry Foster of Topeka and Dean Foster of Mission; and a granddaughter: Samantha Anderson of Killeen, TX. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Mon., April 16, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church. Private interment of cremains in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
