Dorothy F. Fidler

Dorothy F. Fidler, 81, Topeka, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at her home. Dorothy was born March 1, 1923, in Topeka, the daughter of Charles Alvin and Ethel M. Bundy Price. She was a member of Family of God Church. Dorothy married Jess L. Fidler on June 20, 1967, in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1997. A grandson, Tracy Logan, also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Connie Whyrick, Topeka; a son, Edwin Logan, Topeka; three brothers, Ivan Price, Jesse Price and Harold Price, all of Topeka; two sisters, Lulla Bell Schafer, Topeka, and Veda Cartwright, in Tennessee; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Family of God Church, 1231 N.W. Eugene. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Fidler will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka after 3 p.m. Thursday, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Association, Topeka/Shawnee County Chapter, P.O.
