Dorothy L. Crume, 84, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at a care center in Lenexa.
Dorothy was born February 25, 1936 in Craig, Missouri, the daughter of Henry G. and Lorene B. (Miller) Stuenkel. She graduated from Topeka High School.
Dorothy was employed in retail sales retiring with Avon in 2016.
She was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Dorothy married Thomas A. Crume on April 10, 1955 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Topeka. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Evelyn Sunderland and a brother, Walter Stuenkel.
Survivors include three sons, Randy (Chris) Crume, Ft. Worth, TX; David (Peggy) Crume, Lenexa, KS; Larry (Nancy) Crume, St. Charles, MO; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family and was passionate about her service to God.
Private family graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
