DOROTHY M. ALEXANDER
Dorothy Alexander, 88, of Topeka, passed away August 28, 2009. She was born October 16, 1921 in Atchison, the daughter of Pete and Minnie Shepard.
She and her husband Albert (Alex) Alexander owned and operated Alexander's Auto Parts for several years.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Alexander, of Topeka.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Albert (Alex), a sister and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Topeka Cemetery on the Garden Chapel.
Mrs. Alexander will lie in State after 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 Monday evening.
