Dorothea F. Puckett

Dorothea Puckett died December 17, 2014. She was born December 25, 1921, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Frank and Mary Wesley.

Dorothea graduated from Topeka High School. She was an inspector at Hallmark Cards. She was a member of Helena Chapter # 210, O.E.S.

She was married to Donald Puckett, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 21, 1969. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Sharp and an infant son.

Surviving are a son: Donald A. Puckett, Jr. of Lakewood, CO; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, followed by lodge services conducted by Helena Chapter # 210, O.E.S. Interment in Rochester Cemetery next to her husband.

Dorothea will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Monday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
