OBITUARY: Doris "Sue" Hustead
Doris "Sue" Hustead, 62, Topeka, died Sun., Aug. 31, 2008, at her home. She was born Nov. 26, 1945, at Grapevine, TX, the daughter of Marshall and Lois Hogue.
Sue owned and operated Freedom Cleaning. She loved gardening and working in her yard. Buddy Lee, her pomeranian dog, was her companion.
Surviving are 2 sons: Nick Green of Peculiar, MO, and Mike Pense of Topeka; 2 daughters: Kristy Stover of Bedford, TX, and Renee Spillane of Topeka; a brother: Charlie Hogue of AZ; 2 sisters: Katherine Knecht and Mary Lou Stults both of TX; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM, Thurs., Sept. 4, 2008, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Sue will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wed., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
